Over the past few years, it has become a custom for me and my friends to travel to the three Baltic countries, including Lithuania and Estonia, with the aim of attending the Forest Folk Craft Market held in Latvia on the first weekend of June. Even for the same travel destination, my attraction to it changes depending on the time, but this time after three years, Estonia left a strong impression on me.

Estonia is the highest of the Baltics, just below Finland.

In Estonia, I was able to find many favorites such as graphical design, fairy tale-like natural scenery, people who are kind and have a good sense of distance, traditional handicrafts that I encountered at the Heimtari Museum, and an encounter with tapestry artist Anu Raud. However, the color of the thread set this time was inspired by the color of the rug that was laid out at the place where I was staying.

The blue-based color that left a deep impression on me in Estonia, and perhaps because there are few hours of sunlight, the combination of colors made up of subtle shades makes me feel like this rug is packed with colors. became. It's a fashionable color combination that you wouldn't think you'd find in a country camp, but something you'd find in an interior shop in Denmark, right? !
